4' x 6' Wooden Sider Trailer
Introduction
The 4' x 6' (1830 x 1220mm) Wooden Sider Trailer is a great little all purpose trailer that will cope with almost any job around the house, yard or farm.
With 200mm (8") high wooden replaceable sides, full tie rails and tie hooks, hinging & removable front and rear tailgates, heavy duty drawbar, 14" wheels and a strong, but lightweight chassis, the wooden sider is capable of carrying a maximum GVM of 2200lb or 1000kgs.
This trailer is simplicity at is best and with a splash of paint, you can color the timber panels to match your tow vehicle or company colors.
Composite board, sign board or aluminum panels can be used to replace the timber panels if required.
Building the trailer is straightforward and with our easy step by step instructions and a bit of forward planning, you should be able to knock up the trailer in a day or two.
This trailer build is a great way save money on your next trailer and its ease of building will quickly get a trailer towing behind your vehicle, the tare weight of the trailer is approximately 470 lbs (215kg) and you can safely load up to 1730lbs (785kgs)
